The book "The Art of Keeping Cool" is very interesting to me. First of all, the main character named Robert had to move with his family to his grandparents farm. Robert was not satisfied by the idea of leaving home, he had a mother and a sister, his father was away fighting, Robert was begging his mother to stay and don't move, one of his reasons was if his father comes back from fighting he wouldn't find them. There was no chance and Roberts mother already bought train tickets, she has written a letter for Robert's father saying that they are at their grandparents house so he would not be confused. After a long train ride Robert and the rest of his family arrived to their grandparents home. They already had their cottage prepared. Robert met his cousin Elliot and he thought that Elliot is very shy and weird, he did not like him. But after their meal, Elliot invited Robert to see one of his drawings... in that moment Robert had another opinion about Elliot he liked him more. I've noticed that the novel I'm reading is happening in the same time as the book "The Cay" that the whole class is reading together, 1942.
