    Summary
Caitlin went to recess with little kids. She liked little kids. It doesn't hurt when they push you. She met a boy with a red baseball cap that looks like Devon's. Caitlin walked slowly toward him. The boy looked sad. Caitlin carefully handed out Laurie the gummy worm. The boy ate the gummy worm and he told Caitlin how he misses her mom and asks her if she miss Devon. Caitlin told the boy that people thinks that she is a wierdo. The boy shrugged and told Caitlin that she is nice, not a wierdo. Caitlin gives him a sticker for his manners. The bell rings and the boys tells Caitlin his name, Micheal. Caitlin tells her name, too but tells Micheal she doesn't like it when her name is shouted.

Caitlin thinks of The Day Our Life Fell Apart for her and her dad again. Caitlin starts screaming. "DEV-ON! DEV-ON! DEV-ON! I TRIED BUT THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO!" She cried bursting out her tears, screaming the words from the hospital people. Dad yelling to stop in pain and wrapped a blanket around Caitlin. Dad turns on the TV and they all looks at it. It was Fox Five News talking about Virginia Dare Middle School shooting and Devon. The lady on the news desks says "...but isn't it good that we now have closure?"

Caitlin sucks on her sleeve, Dad takes kind of a crying showers and Mrs. Robbins comes. Caitlin asks her for her dictionary. Closure: the state of experiencing an emotional conclusion to a difficult life event such as the death of loved one.
Caitlin goes to school and asks Mrs. Brook about closure the first moment Caitlin saw her. Caitlin doesn't seem like she got the answer of  "How do I get to the state of experiencing an emotional conclusion to a difficult life event; the closure?"

Caitlin stands in front of Devon's room door. It was closed since 'The Day Our Life Fell Apart'. She goes in his room, thinking about the memories.

My thoughts
I really love being with little kids. They really like you when you are nice to them. They make you feel grown up, responsible, nice, and a good example for them.
p. 60

I don't understand. Why is it good that we have closure? I see that as the time passes, Caitlin and dad falls into this endless hole deeper and deeper. One day, they need to stop falling and get out of that horrible hole.
p.67

Caitlin gets obsessed with things very easily that got to do with Devon. Like hearts getting shot. This time, closure. I realize this every single time, but she is and still very shocked.
p. 74
