ALL HELL LET LOOSE

Book name: All Hell Let Loose (Serbian)
Author: Max Hastings

Dear Readers,

I heavily advise this incredible Non-Fiction book! Max Hastings, who has written over 16 WW2 (World War 2) books will intrigue you into this bloody and long war, which resulted inn the loss of 50 million people....... This incredible book starts in blitzkrieg-ed Poland, and ends in ruined Stalingrad (Volgograd).Note: (There are 2 books!!!)

In this book, there are no main characters. The book is basically a collection of true facts, and experience of people who had it first hand. Despite the fact that I am only about 60 pages into the book, it already described the true terror of the war. Many described Poland for example as " Too reliable on others". In the siege of the capital Warsaw, it mainly describes the terrible 20 day siege, and the mass bombing of the "wrong" 3rd Reich. Right know, I am just entering the siege of Norway. The British and Norwegians tried, and failed, but this where all to change.......

In the current phase it is difficult to asses, but I am assuming that all the characters have one common thought in mind. The war in their minds wants to end! Physical traits are not described and are not even mentioned, but the mental status of people is catastrophic, particularly in invaded nations, such as Ukraine, France, Yugoslavia, Greece, all the Baltic nations, Norway,Finland, partly Russia, Poland etc..... This phenomenon, can have many negative results, those are the following:
1. Weakens morale
2. Increases risk of depression and hallucination
3. Turns you to be pessimistic
4. If your mind does not function, the body is also in "danger"
5.Makes you become greedy, and a worser person.......

In conclusion, I would like to say that I am extremely happy with this book, and it's a pleasure to read it. When you know that an experienced author such as Max Hastings, you know you'll get reliable, and revised info. As of content, I would like to give it an exceptional 10/10, due to the fact that there are 2 books in the series, and it has a lot of facts and figures, a long with real life stories and experiences. In organization, I would like to give it an excellent 9/10, since he put's facts and battles in perfect order, but the book lack's that many dates are not in order. From language usage and language style, I would again want to give it an excellent 9/10. Many phrases are extremely artistic, but some words are used again and again..........

Final score:28/30
"Excellent"
