The book I have read for
the book project is Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library. Chris Grabenstein is
the writer of that book. He was born on September 2, 1955 in Buffalo, New York,
US. He is also co-author of two books Treasure Hunters and I funny, I even
funnier. He won two Anthony and four Agatha Awards in his writing career.
When Chris was fifth grade
he won first writing award for the essay on citizenship. He studied journalism
and theater at college.
After college he was writing
scripts for his friends’ comedy group and for Jim Henson’s very popular Muppet
Show.
In 1986 with a friend Chris
wrote a TV movie The Christmas Gift that still can be watched on-line. Chrirs
spent almost twenty years writing radio and TV commercials.
Chris Grabenstein wrote
many mystery books and scary thrillers for adults.
