The main problems

The main problems in the story are that a mother from two step mom siblings married a new man and they are spending now a few weeks of the summer in an isolated valley in Wales. Before they went to the house the house belonged Alison's father,(one of the siblings),Who is dead now.But there's something unusual about the house, because when Alison and Rogger are standing in their new rooms,they hear scratching noises in the attic above Alison's bed.They believe that there are rats or mice, when they went to the attic go see what it is, they see old plates, and when Rogger tryed to pick up one something odd happens, he almost falls threw the ceilings. after a few weeks Alison decided to go again in the attic, and she considered for what her father had used the plates. She traces a pattern on one plate onto a paper and folds the result to make an owl. She becomes obsessed by the plates. one by one she traces them and make the owls.
