Dead Man's Cove CHARACTERS

Hello everybody, I am back. This time I am going to write about the characters in my book. There are a several characters and I will lead you and tell you what that character is like and why I think that character is like that. I will also provide some statements from the book to support my description of that character.

My book is called Dead man's cove. It's written by Lauren St John. It's one in the Laura Marlin Mystery series. This book has 212 pages. I have read up till chapter 8.

Here goes the characters!

Laura Marlin: Laura Marlin is a very brave and adventurous. Example for why she is brave: the last chapter, pages 193-212 is stating that Laura has finally decoded the mystery of the dead man's cove and now everybody is happy because everybody in St. Ives (the setting of the story) were all scared of the dead man's cove. St the beginning of the book she was told to stay away from the dead man's cove. However she got curious and somehow finally decoded the mystery of the dead man's cove. All together Laura is a very brave young girl.

Calvin Redfern: Calvin Redfern is Laura's uncle. She is living with her uncle because her mother died when she was a baby and her father went off to America with telling anybody where he will live. Calvin Redfern is a very mysterious character from this book. He was described as a very tall, brooding man with scary eyes on page 14. The reason why he is mysterious is because he hardly ever stays at home because he is usually busy in his work. When Laura asked the house keeper about her uncle's job, she got the reply of "he works for a fisheries, or so he says", said Mrs.Webb the house keeper. This was on page 30. In all Calvin Redfern, Laura's uncle is a very mysterious person.
