     This book that I am reading for our second book report is called Downriver and the author is Will Hobbs. The book has 235 pages and it has a two main characters. The rest are not mentioned too much throughout the story.

       The first main character is called Jessie. She is brave and is always being kind to all of her friends. For example she is caring because when some of her other friends fell off their boat she paddled faster so she could save them (pg.78). Another example is that she always tries to cheer her friends up when they are sad (pg.80).

       The second main character is called Troy. He is a ultimately frightened leader while they are in the river on the rafts as the picture shows on the right.He also solves conflicts in between other friends even if he is not involved. On the way down the river he is always thinking what the consequences of the adventure will be (pg. 70-80).
