Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's library, by Matija

I am reading a book Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library, by Chris Grabenstein. The book has 288 pages. I am reading page 99.
The main character is twelve year old Kyle Keeley. He is the youngest of three brothers in Keeley family. He loves to play games, especially video games. When his best friend Akimi asked him if he wrote an essay to win a prize of a night in a local library that supposed to open soon he was not interested at all. He does not like to read. But when he found out there were going to be games in the library he started writing. He knew his essay was too short to be chosen but he did not give up and tried to contact the final judge directly by e-mail with longer and nicer essay (page 30). He is very persistent and imaginative to find a way to reach his goal. Kyle is also kind and nice friend. He cares about his family a lot and he showed it by sharing his 500 dollars prize with his family (page 45). He decided to give each family member 100 dollars to spend in a game store. That was the store of his favorite game maker but still he did not spend the prize only for games he likes.
Second character is Akimi, Kyle’s best friend. She has long black hair, blue eyes and freckles (page 15). Like Kyle she likes to play video games but she also likes to read. She wrote an essay to join the contest to win a night in a local library and was very said Kyle didn’t. The contest was organized to kick off the summer reading program and all twelve year olds were asked to write an essay and if they win they will be the first to explore the new library. Akimi was excited to hear about library opening. She cares about Kyle and likes to spend time with him. She was very excited when she was chosen but very happy when he was chosen to be among twelve kids that will explore the library (page 40)
