The dead man's cove is a book about an 11 year old girl, Laura Marlin and how she unveils the secret of the mysterious Dead man' s cove. It's a very adventurous and cool book to read. The conflict of this book or story if you will are the hard ships and the complications of solving a mystery. But this mystery isn't like every other, nah not at all. In fact, if that's what you think then you are wrong, this is because this mystery does not have any clues, in fact this mystery isn't really a mystery it's basically Laura discovering why the dead man's cove is forbidden to go in when the whole Sylvan Meadows is not forbidden. So she has no clues about why dead man's cove is forbidden, everybody only tell her not to go there that's all. If I had to classify the type of conflict then I think it would be either Man vs. Mystery or Man vs. Society.
Everybody, I am just going to tell you that I am almost finished, only have 57 more pages to read, basically 2 chapters left. SPOILERS *she discovers the secret and when she tells everybody else they are not scared.* But guys don't go UGH just because I told you what happens at the end, you can still look up to finding what the secret is.
